Loop Evotec FW 5seven Fly Reel

The LOOP Evotec FW 5seven is the perfect fly reel for WF5 to 7 fly lines. As all LOOP reels, it is a large arbor fly reel with all of its advantages: speed of retrieving the line; helps against line memory; low resistance; alomost no drag increase. Made out of aircraft-grade aluminium, it is very light while remaining very strong. As its brake system is sealed and waterproof, there is absolutely no maintenance on that reel.

The brake system of Loop Evotec FW fly reels only works when you pull the line out of the reel, not when you are winding in the fly line. Therefore, and although the winding can easily be changed from right to left hand, it is easier to order the reel for right hand wind – R - or left hand wind – L. We offer the two versions and we change it for you if we don't have the version that you have ordered, changing only takes a few minutes when you know how to do it. This reel is silent: it has no clicker.

Another good thing with the three new LOOP Evotec FW reels is that they share the same body. Yes, the only difference between the three LOOP Evotec FW fly reels is the spool. Those three spools are interchangeable. If you own an Evotec FW 5seven reel, you may buy an Evotec FW 3five or a FW 4six spare spool and put it onto your FW 5seven reel, it will fit. This way, with one body and three different spare spools, you may use any fly line between WF2 and WF7! You may also put an 8 or a 9 weight fly line if it is of a shooting head type.
